About Gilda's Club Seattle

Gilda's Club Seattle offers a broad, community-based program of social, emotional, and educational support for cancer survivors, their loved ones and friends that provides sustained support, education and resources on-site in the Seattle Clubhouse and off-site with collaborating partners. Free of charge to participants, and nonprofit, we offer a Five Core Component program that includes a variety of support services, educational opportunities, classes and workshops, social events, and resources and referral. Our program serves anyone touched by cancer across the cancer continuum -- from diagnosis, through treatment and post-treatment, survivorship, and bereavement, including children, teens, and whole families.

We hope to raise $25,000 with this first-time event to benefit Gilda's Club Seattle Family Programs. You and your friends are key to helping Gilda’s Club provide programs and services so that no one has to face cancer alone. 


 
We are excited to do participate in the Red Door 5K Run/Walk on September 13.  Please help our team raise money to support family programs such as Kids Camp Sparkle, Kids Kitchen and Teen Education!

Yeager Family
Gilda's Club and its mission is very important to me and my family. 

As most of you know we lost my dad to cancer not long after he was diagnosed. If you knew my daddy, you would know he was one of the best people on this planet. He put everyone before himself and loved his family more than anyone else I have ever seen. 

Ryan and Julia were invited to attend Camp Sparkle (a camp for children impacted my cancer) last year and are attending again this year. The camp lets them be with other kids who have lost family members to cancer and give them a chance to let loose and remember who they used to be before losing their grandparents. 

Every dollar I raise can help others in need during their time of need.
